Cacophony is a genre bending avant garde amalgamation of the noises and sounds and music Klowniac has passionately been working on for the last year and a half or so. In a world of pitch perfect and algorithmically produced music, they wanted to make something that ironically felt more human despite their eldritch klown persona. Something a little rough around the edges that shows it's from a living breathing being and not nonsense made by AI overlords or soulless computer generated junk. The album actually holds some pieces that were created before Klowniac even knew how to produce or mix properly and contains their journey as an independent artist finding out how to do everything solo and making things work. The amazing, the horrible and everything in-between. A literal sonic documentation of growth via experimenting with different sounds and mediums and genres and instruments. It's fun and weird and cringe and cathartic. There's something humbling about having mistakes and not- so-polished things available to people alongside those better made tracks. Klowniac feels that is the kind of transparency and vulnerability missing in a lot of artists today; and hopes this album can highlight that progress proving that hard work and dedication pays off in the end. Cacophony is empirical evidence that we all start somewhere and as long as we keep showing up and working at it; success is sure to follow.
